The Importance Of Warming Up And Cooling Down During Netball Workout Sessions
         A good physical condition is essential if you want to be a good netball player. With a healthy and fit body you can avoid being hurt and be a better player because they have good physical strength, agility and flexibility - important skills in the sport of netball.

          Working is a crucial element having a fit body. But apart from the actual training session, it is important to warm up before and cool down properly after exercise.

 

          It is the nature of each training session to put the application on your body. Warm-up prepares your body to meet these requirements. Cooling, on the other hand, helps with recovery, to bring the body back to normal and reduce post-exercise discomfort.

          The correct heating process means to effectively increase the temperature of the body as the warm muscles are more elastic and are able to withstand the stress of working without any injury. Additionally, you must also be able to improve blood flow to the muscles. When this is achieved, the amount of oxygen carried to the work muscles increases and this, in turn, helps to eliminate waste muscle. Finally, proper warm-up activities will help mobilize your joints. When the joints move across a range of motion, the joint surfaces are lubricated and are suitably prepared for intense physical activity.

          Activities that can help your body achieve these usually involve movement of the body's main muscles in rhythmic and energetic movements.

          After a workout, the body naturally returns to its normal state. This process is called recovery time and the proper cooling will help the body do it in the healthiest way possible.

          But why is it a significant cooling? After a workout, your heart rate remains high for a while. At this stage, inactivity can lead to a buildup of blood - a condition that can cause dizziness and fainting. The accumulation of blood is caused by the blood pumped from the heart, but not returned to the heart. Muscle contraction helps return the blood to the heart. As such, staying active after exercise is the best way to avoid these problems. In addition, this healthy movement of blood caused by muscle action is called venous return also helps to eliminate waste muscles. If this waste remains in the muscle, it can cause pain in the muscles later



          The best way to cool is usually to continue activity, but at an intensity that allows the heart to slow down. For example, after a heavyweight training session any aerobic light activity will help cool down properly.
