What Is the Impact of Modern Lifestyle on Our Health?
The way of life concerns every day the decisions we make: sport and exercise, work, food, appearance, leisure. It is a key factor for our health, and according to Dr. Tim Armstrong of the World Health Organization, lifestyle diseases such as cancer and diabetes account for 35 million deaths every year (60% All deaths).

What is an unhealthy lifestyle?

Physical inactivity, junk food / fast food, smoking, alcohol use and substance abuse are all associated with an unhealthy lifestyle. On top of that, the great evolution of social networks and jobs in the IT sector is putting people in difficulty. There are too many psychological and emotional stressors for all of us.

Impact of modern lifestyle on health and well-being :

Unhealthy habits are associated with metabolic diseases, joint pain, skeletal problems, heart problems, hypertension, overweight and many others. Nutrition, lifestyle and health are closely related, so it's really up to us to keep our bodies in top condition.

Let's look at some of the issues that many people are affected by :

Body Mass Index (BMI): Many unwanted foods, soft drinks and unhealthy diets cause obesity. You can get more information about your BMI. It is calculated from a formula that takes into account your weight and height and determines whether you are underweight, overweight or obese.

  • Lack of exercise :  Exercise prevents insomnia, obesity, heart problems, diabetes ... the list goes on. Exercise is also a stress buster. But because of our busy schedules, we often ignore our workout routines.

  • Sleep :  Proper sleep is the ultimate basis for a healthier and happier life. Circles under the eye, stress, depression and weight gain occur due to poor sleep. Using your computer and your mobile phone until midnight affects your sleeping regimen and usually results in insomnia and disturbed sleep. Dependence on mobile phones can cause depression.

  • Sexual Behavior :  Unhealthy choices can increase the risk of sexual dysfunction and sexual inactivity that can ruin your personal life.

  • Addictions :  People are so busy and stress that they often turn to drugs, smoking and / or alcohol simply to get away from their busy schedule.

  • Drugs :  Most people use over-the-counter medications, they just tell the pharmacist what the problem is and ask for something to relieve the pain. This is considered a particularly dangerous dangerous option! It is always best to consult a doctor.

  • Physical inactivity :  letting go hours and days and doing nothing is the worst and a major cause of illness and disability. Some people call physical inactivity "the biggest public health problem of the 21st century".

According to the speech, "health is wealth". We should all try to improve ourselves so that we can be healthier and happier.
