Less Sugar Intake, Realize Better Health and Fitness

Less Sugar Intake, Realize Better Health and Fitness
If there is one thing that could change in your diet that would help you excel with your exercise and training activities, you would limit your daily sugar intake. Many studies have determined that on average we consume 40 to 50 teaspoons of sugar per day. So I measured 45 teaspoons of sugar and I was blown out by the size of the pile on the plate. I also went a little further and I weighed that pile of sugar and it was 12.2 oz. (About 350 grams for my Canadian friends). In a month it would be 22.9 pounds of sugar. In one year it would be 274.8 pounds. I can not imagine what this stack would look like.

As I understand it when we consume sugar, our pancreas produces insulin that breaks it down, so that it lowers into the bloodstream and helps to produce energy in our body. Two levels of sugar and our insulin levels are scalar and the extra sugar becomes fat. Our bodies then say - we can not burn this excess fat so we had to store it. Around the waist looks like a good place. Once the fat is stored, we all know how hard it is to get rid of it.

Sugar is in almost everything we eat in one way or another. From ketchup to bread to milk, sugar is present under different names. These may include fructose, sucrose, high fructose corn syrup, glucose or lactose in the milk. Everything is sugar.

Some foods rich in sugar are concentrated fruit juices, with orange near the top of the list. Also barbecue sauce, biscuits and pastries, and fruity yoghurt. One of the worst foods, especially for children, is raisins. They not only have a very high sugar content but they stick between teeth and can cause cavities. At 12 oz. You can leave soda up to 40 grams of sugar. I know someone says they only drink soda to the diet. It's even worse. But that is another argument.

Become aware of your daily sugar intake. A teaspoon of sugar is about 4 grams. Read the food labels to find out how many grams of sugar exists in this product. It is best to drink water to stay hydrated than to go to one of these sports drinks. If you can burn your sugar intake during your workouts and workouts, you will see faster results to achieve your fitness goals and your pancreas will thank you for it.
