Practicing Good Gym and Fitness Center Etiquette

First of all, we'll start by cleaning the equipment you use at the gym or fitness center. Many places offer paper towels or paper and some sort of disinfectant for cleaning and sterilization. This simple 30-second procedure ensures minimal spread of infections and provides an attractive environment without the perspiration of moisture, etc.

Do not be a despot! Yes, it is sometimes difficult to solve if there is a crowd, but go with the flow and sharing. Not "pig" a machine or a bench or area. Perform the set and progress. Talk with others to make sure they are not "cutting" if they are still in general. And do not sit there and "play" with your cell phone or iPod if done in this area. Stay away if you have to and let others get their training.

Be respectful of how long you use a machine or item in the center and be aware of others who may be "floating" to use the same machine or item you use. There may be times when asked if they can "work" with you. This is quite appropriate and unless you superconfigurado, let them come in turn. You begin to make new friends and improve your experience in the gym and yours.

Do not forget to hydrate, just do not monopolize the source. Do you need to fill your water bottle or jar? That's fine, but those who just want to drink a drink from the source to go ahead and do not form a line if possible.

Do you take phone calls on your cell phone while working? No problem and that is your choice, but please be respectful of others who work around you. First, no one wants to hear their conversation and on the other hand, speaking in a noisy environment, they tend to speak louder to the person on the other end of the phone. No to the privacy of others.

Return the computer you are using when you are done with this exercise. There is nothing more annoying than looking for something that was there yesterday, but someone has moved and left him in the corridor or somewhere that does not belong to him. Re rack, weights, clean their rear carpet machines, etc. so that the next person can find what they need.

Take a deep breath! If you sweat and begin to detect an unpleasant odor, which surround the odds are that the smell is very bad. Try to use a small amount of deodorant or antiperspirant before entering the gym or gym. And, conversely, if you use cologne or strong perfume smell powerful, try rubbing a bit before you start your workout.

Wear appropriate clothing for training. Please do not use anything overexposed or explicit. Enough talk.

So if you are a veteran or just starting out, enjoy your fitness experience by following these simple rules of etiquette. Go to the gym!
