Why Exercise? Here's Why

Why Exercise? Here's Why
In my mid-1930s, I was diagnosed with very serious health problems. I remember the days I was so carefree and so sick that my working days shortened to about 3-4 hours a day. This made it difficult for my clients because my best times were 10: 00-2: 00. For this reason, most of my work had to be done in my home office.

Meanwhile, it would make it a point to go for a walk at 10pm. It was very difficult for me.

As I struggled to make a mile, I wondered if I would recover my health? Exercise and physical activity have always been a big part of my life. Now I spent most of my days in bed.

About 40 years old, my wife really started to grow. Not in a way that was bad. But in a sense of inspiration. Slowly, our walks became longer. I started the training again in the morning. While some days could only manage 10 minutes. My thought process was 10 minutes beating 5. And given my health at that time, he was ready to take any small victory they could get.

During the 3 decades of mental health work, I often make side moves in the fitness industry as a health and wellness consultant. Working with local and national channels, I have successfully completed several weight loss programs. I knew how much weight affected person from the point of view of health and mental health. Therefore, while I focus on diet from the point of view of disease, I would use exercise for general well-being.

There is no doubt that we can all enjoy the daily exercise. And you do not really need to invest in a lot of time to get results. Personally, I work for one hour a day, 7 days a week. It feels good to me. When I finally was able to regain my health, I promised that I would do everything possible to preserve it. That said, you can see concrete results in just 20 minutes a day 3-4 times a week. What kind of results? Let's look at some of the benefits of exercising regularly.

#1 Reduce stress, depression and anxiety.

Exercise has a direct effect on the chemistry of our brain. A good 30 minute walk or run must release endorphins. When this happens, less stress and feel more energy.

#2 Trust is not easy for most of us.

How can we build it? Move. Exercise makes you feel good. When you feel good, you tend to have better self-esteem. A better self-image? Oh yes. There is your confidence.

3. Delays the aging process.

More importantly, cognitive impairment. Exercise will not completely stop this process. But, it will help to slow down. And the sooner you start the exercise, the better.

Exercise is important at all stages of life. But for cognitive function, beginning to exercise between the ages 25-45 seem more important.

#4 You can help control dependency.

This can happen twice. First, during exercise, the brain releases dopamine (chemical feels good.) For many in this recovery can be a good substitute. Second, exercise can give your life a certain sense of order, which means leads to self-esteem. And as an added bonus, exercise that is integrated into your daily schedule, you can offer a distraction to those cravings.

From time to time I hear someone argue that exercise is just another form of addiction. Well, maybe. Like food, pornography, shopping and most everything else. However, ask yourself if you prefer to be addicted to exercise or drugs? Be stronger than your excuses.

#5 When blood flows, it seems that we are becoming more creative.

This occurs especially when we exercise outdoors.

There are so many good reasons to start exercising. Some of my biggest hits with clients have not come as a sign of mental health. They came for a weight loss session. When a person has been diagnosed with several conditions threatening life and engaging in a wellness process, this is a great success.

In the early 30s I received a call from a woman who wanted to see me as a hypnotherapist. However, when he came to my office and I was making my consumption in it, he was talking about how he was diagnosed with a brain tumor, breast cancer and various digestive disorders. I quickly told myself that my office manager gave me the wrong client file, and that she was there to end problems of life. Or see the doctor I was working with. When I asked them what was seen, he said without hesitation, I am here to lose 20 pounds if I look well in a swimsuit on vacation. Woohoo! I just love it.

Over the next two weeks, we not only use hypnosis, but she was open to change. With a few corrections to the diet and adding a little exercise, not only did it lower the weight, but their digestive problems disappeared. I did not see him again after going on vacation. I can not stop believing that add to the quality of life I had before.

And as I later discovered about the power of movement, there is no miracle drug that can be found. But if any, exercise is one of them.

Now stop playback and exit the computer. Get in motion!
